Despite the rain in the morning, the looming dark clouds in the afternoon, and a brief drizzle just before the ceremony, Karen and Ryan’s outdoor wedding went off without a hitch! In fact, the day, the venue (Grosvenor Lodge) the food, the flowers, and the all vinyl DJ made for a spectacular event. Oh yes, and did I mention that the people were fantastic too?! Corynne and I had a great time and our favourite part of the day was the kissing wheel – provided by Entertainment by Design (the aforementioned all vinyl DJ). The kissing wheel is a game that is played in order to get the bride and groom to kiss. Categories included “animal noises” – definitely one of our favourites – “Karen & Ryan trivia” and “you kiss somebody else”. Needless to say, our happy bride and groom were doing a lot of kissing!
